45 year old keeper tears her ACL playing indoor
After playing soccer for 35 years and never having any knee injuries, I finally joined the club this week by tearing my ACL. I have watched many of my teammates over the years with their ACL injuries, and assumed it only happened to field players. Maybe it's because I just turned 45 and my body is trying to tell me it's time to quit - I was hoping to make it to the National Senior Games Soccer tournament. I guess I will just have to come and watch!

Ouch!! Sorry to hear about your knee! I haven't done my ACL (yet), just ruptured the patellar tendon, which was awful. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
Very cool blog here! Nice way to keep in touch!
